So, we went to Seaworld this weekend because they have their “Halloween Spooktacular” there which the boys enjoy.

Tom was Obi-Wan Kenobi… and my little guy was “Dr. Alex” ..

Will hopefully have some more, and better pictures later on in the week. I might actually try and get them to ‘pose’ for some shots together before we go trick or treating on Wednesday!

Not much unusual going on here.  I get up at the crack of dawn to get Tom to school.  I do like that he finishes so early in the afternoon, but the mornings are killer!  Then I head to Target for my obligatory Grande, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks.  Yum!  It helps greatly with my diet, as I can skip breakfast and the milk, caramel and coffee keep me going till lunchtime.  They also know my order as soon as I get into the store, much to John’s amusement.  We were there on Saturday shopping and the girl who normally works in Starbucks in the morning was on the Register instead.  She said to me : “Have you had your Non-Fat Caramel Macchiato at 140 yet?” … and I laughed and John looked at me and declared : “That’s soooo sad”….. Haha!  I can’t help but think that he might be right.

Other than that, nothing much happening here.  We’re waiting for his trip to DC in a couple of weeks to find out what they are going to offer his as far as work is concerned and from there we will know if we get to move up there or not.  I’m really not sure that I want to, but if it puts him in a position where he can better advance into this more mature stage of his life (did you like how I worded that?!), then we will do what we have to do.  I’m loving Tom’s school and his Karate, and I would love to stay here right now, but there you go.  Some things can’t be helped and I’m sure we can find him a new Karate school (although we would be hard pushed to find somewhere as fantastic as Mile High Karate in Orange City) and I’m sure whatever school he ends up in will be just as good, if I have anything to do about it!

More later… time to go play with the Rugrat…

So, I finally picked up the brush again and started work on a new flower… my English Rose… haha…

I’ve put down my base and now I need to give it a couple of days to dry a bit before I continue laying it on, so to speak.  I’m hoping to pick myself up a Tripod tomorrow so I can take some decent pictures of my work and share here for everyone.

To quote a famous rabbit…. That’s all folks!
