So, I finally picked up the brush again and started work on a new flower… my English Rose… haha…
I’ve put down my base and now I need to give it a couple of days to dry a bit before I continue laying it on, so to speak. I’m hoping to pick myself up a Tripod tomorrow so I can take some decent pictures of my work and share here for everyone.

I have been soooo busy lately with the children, that I don’t really have much to share.
I was thinking of starting up making “Tattoo Shirts” for kids, but I’m having issues with the paint when washing, so I’m sidelining that idea for a while. Today, after I’ve finished my ironing, I’m going to try and get some painting done.
Oh a life of domesticity… bleh!

So, today we did some painting! A lot messy, but loads of fun!

I just wanted to briefly explain where I got the name “Absolutely, positively, me!” from. Well, I was trying to find a name for the photography aspect of what I do, and came up with the name : “Positively Photogenic”, which then evolved to “Positively Photographic” with the byline of sorts : “There are no negatives!”
We thought it rather amusing!
Anyway, much as I love that, I wanted my Website to accommodate not only : “Positively Photographic”, but also my Paintings as well as whatever else I might be doing, and so : “Art? Absolutely!” was born and combined the whole thing became : “Absolutely, positively, me!”
I’ve been told it’s very ‘me’….

I’m not sure exactly what to put here, so I’m just going to make it brief and share with you some of my favourite work so far. This is my favourite painting and my best so far… at least that’s what I think! I’ve been doing a lot of knitting lately, so haven’t started my new one yet, but watch this space because I already know what I am going to do, it’s just a matter of finding the time to put brush to canvas.
This painting is on Gallery Canvas of 36″ x 36″ and is currently hanging on my dining room wall! Forgive the odd reflective quality of some of this picture as the photograph was taken with a flash and bounced back off the black. I’ll head outside as soon as I can and retake them in natural light.
